Vehicle Patrol Officer

 

Join our team as a Security Guard - Vehicle Patrol and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of an apartment complex. As part of our team, you’ll perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, ensure protection of our client’s assets, monitor property access, and maintain a secure environment for residents and visitors while upholding the standards of Cardinal Point Security Group

 

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19128

Schedule:

8:30 PM to 4:30 AM

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be punctual and professional, maintain a sharp appearance in proper uniform, stay engaged and provide consistent, reliable service.
  • Vehicle Patrol: Patrol assigned client areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Foot Patrol: Perform thorough foot patrols as required by the assignment.
  • Route Schedule: Follow a set patrol route and adhere to the schedule.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the patrol vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to residents, visitors, and staff, addressing their concerns professionally.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activity, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and activities.
  • Collaborate with on-site management and emergency services as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of security experience; prior experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Driving Experience: Minimum five years of driving experience with no infractions.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Background Requirements:

  • Completion of a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
  • No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug screen

Skills:

  • Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to operate a vehicle for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking and standing during patrols.
