Unarmed Security Officer – Three shifts

Pay rate: $15.00 per hour

Location: Jenkintown, PA

Schedule:
Coverage is needed
12:30 PM to 5:30 PM Saturday and Sunday
5:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Sunday through Saturday
12:30 AM to 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent.
• Reports on time to relieve officer on prior shift
• Performs tours of the building on a scheduled basis
• Ensures that all exterior and interior doors are locked as required
• Checks internal mailbox and distributes mail to tenants as required
• Report on any maintenance issues for building services personnel
• Observes and reports unusual or suspicious activity
• Completes all required reports on time nightly and records them at the end of shift.
• Must be in company issued uniform at all times
• Interact with building staff in a courteous manner
• Coordinates with other team members to provide a safe and secure environment 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of post-high school work experience
• Must have at least two years of working experience as a Security Officer
• Reliable means of communication (active smartphone with the ability to download apps)
• Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written)
• Reliable means of transportation
• Must be punctual and ready to work at the start of every shift
• Complete a criminal background check
• Must have a friendly, outgoing personality, and work well with others
• Must be professional and courteous with supervisors, and fellow team members
