Gate Attendant - all shifts

Cardinal Point Security Group has an immediate need for seasonal Gate Attendants at an entertainment complex.

Pay rate: $18.00 / hour

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19131

Shift:

Shifts are on a rotating schedule for 7 days a week

6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM


Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be punctual and on time for all shifts
• Be a Cardinal Point Ambassador: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent.
• Patrols assigned areas as scheduled. Walks up to 10,000 steps per shift.
• Issues identification badges to all visitors.
• Completes daily activity reports.
• Completes incident reports as required.
• Direct or escorts guests and contractors to appropriate destinations.
• Observes and reports unusual or suspicious activity.
• Interacts with staff and contractors in a courteous manner.
• Coordinates with other team members to provide a safe and secure environment.
• Promptly answers telephone calls with a polite and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Able to work well under pressure.
• Must be available to work one weekend day. Please do not apply if this does not work with your schedule.
• Must have at least ONE year of working experience in security.
• Must be able to pass State and Federal background checks at own expense
• Experience writing and submitting activity reports on a daily basis.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is a must.
• Reliable means of communication (active smartphone with the ability to download apps).
• Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written).
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Must be punctual and ready to work at the start of every shift.
• Must have a friendly, outgoing personality, and work well with others.
• Must be professional and courteous with supervisors, and fellow team members.
